There is a sudden surge in postings on this thread and it reflects the surge in the stock price. This surge is very welcome. There is also an "understandable" exuberance over this stock, leading some of us into the domain of speculation and guesses. I wonder if Wall Street investors/major fund managers have a similar modus operandi when they invest in stocks. IMHO, the investors will realize the true value of this stock (because of their unique business model) in due time. Off course GoTo has not hired a "William Shattner" but I feel that GoTo's business model is similar to PCLN.

In PCLN you bid a price. In Goto you provide a similar entity; a search string. PCLN gets to work for you and does a search to match your price. GoTo does a search for you to match your search string. When a match is found, PCLN gets a cut from the deal. GoTo gets a cut when you use the results of their search.

Now I have seen analysts shouting from rooftops about PCLN. Mr Shattner is doing the same also (off course anybody will say anything if they are paid to advertise!!) So just a little bit of time and I find it hard to see a reason why GoTo will not see their stock price at the same level as PCLN in the next 30 days. Now to make their stock price "interest-rate" proof, GoTo will have to demonstrate that they are profitable. If they don't then they will have price gyrations. Good for day traders, if GoTo fails to show earnings. Sue take note.
