Marc: I respect you and ATI and do not want to intrude on the ATI thread. However, as an owner of S3 from "King of the hill to down and outer", I want to remind you that the similarities are uncanny. Part of the problem I experienced was I was caught looking in S3's rear view mirror rather than thru the forward looking windshield and it was an expensive lesson. There is no doubt that ATI has crushed the other graphic companies the last 2 years. However, the stock price will begin to reflect forward looking performance, which by what I'm seeing unlike the last 2 years ATI will not have the cake walk of S3 missing 2 design cycles. So I guess the question lingers, did ATI crush the competition or did the competition crush them self? The point is my feelings are like S3 of 1997, ATI glory is fading or at least for the next cycle or two. Do yourself a favor, get rid of your rear view mirror. Wish you and ATI much success, ATI is a good company, but it may have blinked. Time will tell.
