Your argument breaks down. Objective reality recognizes that a brick wall is a brick wall no matter what the society says it is. In essence, "a rose is still a rose..."

A man about to crash into a steel pillar while driving a fiberglass car at 212 mph does not question for a moment the outcome of the collision. Societies' behaviors are often irrational because a great many individuals tend to think irrationally, or prefer not to think at all, but respond blindly to the stimuli about them. As a society divorces itself from causality and responsibility for its actions, the bankruptcy of that society = the degree of its ability to rationalize away reality and the consequences of their actions. At a certain point, the society, corrupt and approaching chaotic mindlessness, collapses upon itself... like a blue giant going supernova and collapsing itself into a neutron star or black hole.
