Anyway, I would like to make two points here:

1. I was making a comparison between Athlon and PIII prices. Even if we assume that Athlon prices are 'cut in half by the time unit one actually hits the streets', you seem to be assuming that PIII prices will magically remain stable. All indications are that Intel intend to cut PIII prices.

2. I disagree with your assumption that Athlon prices will necessarily fall much in the next month or so.
