I believe so. The magic phrase is 'Intel Inside'. It will drop
but to a much less extend. In fact, this is the case right now.
Almost everyone is saying Celeron is as good as PII/PIII at the
same clock but PII/PIII still command quite a large premium than
Celeron.

So far the trend was opposite: first day the price
was about $750 for 600MHz on PriceWatch, next day
it jumped to $950 ...
(of course it is hard to call this as "trend",
but anyway...)
