Hey Steve, What do you think about IFSX?

Bought some Internet Financial Services this morning (IFSX), they own AB Watley. A very high growth day-trading e-broker. With the hundreds of millions going into firms like Datek and daytrading centers, it's only a matter a time before AB Watley takes off.

Among active investors, AB Watley and MB Trading seem to have the best reputations.

AB Watley
March 31, 99 Quarter - 143k trades, 2345/day
Dec 31, 98 - 39k trades, 1403/day

Talk about growth. This company is going to scream upwards.

mmpt - the web-based ad firms look attractive to me in general, including dclk, tfsm, uswb in their respective flavors of ad/marketing

web ads and marketing looks like it will start becoming a real buy for the large consumer goods firms...proctor & gamble and the rest are moving in, allocating substantial % of ad budgets to the web

still a long way to go, though

the total ad universe is about $200b (u.s.), of which the lion's share goes to local newspapers

i can foresee the day when the web garners 15% to 20% of all ad expenditures -- by the year 2004-5

keep in mind also that the hybrid tv and web will likely be there in that space, which could drive more ad expenditures into the internet
