Reseller, in fall of '96 AOL was in deep trouble [their previously
reported gains turned to losses after accounting changes]. A vocal
short seller of AOL was David Rocker. I wonder if he is one of the
Rocker Partners? I read about this in the book "aol.com" by Kara Swisher. There are a few parallels to Iomega: AOL was gaining business with big strides but was unable to make a profit.
