Please reread all of what Ron said.

The key words from his quote, "copper absolutely obsolete".>>

What I'm getting at is some of these "gold producers" are making a profit now. Often not entirely from the sale of gold. It's the mix.
HM also has sulfur and a great deal of SILVER reserves. Uranium? HM & AU. BGO made the turn to profit. How, very small very high grade reserves produced at the edge.

It's about profit and the desire to produce whatever will sell at a profit with-in what you know how to do.
