This is the most troubling piece of information coming out from that chart!

Low end is picking up substantial volume.

Intel has said that PIII ramp is fastest in its history - So, no production issue there.

It is a demand issue.

It is a demand issue not just tied with PIII in particular, but all so called highend boxes, from $1400 and up.

If PIII's highend boxes have a 3 month lackluster demand, then, what about K7?

Either go for high margin for a relatively small pie, or to cut prices to stimulate the demand to lower the highend.

It's not good for both Intel and AMD!
