Steve, re:"Mostly what they have is PR!!..."

Hi Steve,

Thank you for your post and your analysis.

I understand your suspicions, but the one gorilla company with whom they have a positive relationship invalidates those suspicions, and we all know who that is ;)

Also, I have been involved with companies that do get involved with questionable companies because they sometimes are not very well run and are unsophisticated during negotiations and business dealings... they are simply prey.

Viewcast is under the Microsoft wing right now as a recommended supplier... that is their strength and many of us here trust Microsoft DD.

Unless there is a sea-change and a competitor challenges the RealNetwork and Microsoft standards, then ViewCast has a very good, early seat in the upcoming broadband boom.

Just my early-morning opinion.

Jon :)

Suggest you visit the company web site and read about the products. You exhibit little knowledge of what the company has to offer. In so far as the NY demo-the audience was very limited due to space considerations. There were approximately 20 carefully selected invitees. An no there was no expectation of any reaction in stock price attribitable to this demo-Only the confirmation by BankBoston that VCST will furnish equipment for what will be come one of the world's largest video conferencing networks. Was this significant. You bet it was-You didn;t see the faces of the invitees prsent from other major banks when this was announced.
