"I have one question for you: where is YOUR money? "

I have done quite well over the course of this bull market. As you know, doing well is not difficult in these time since this is the longest bull market in history and one of the strongest. I am not a stock-picking savant. I am just an average guy who had some cash and put it into equities at the right time. Now, had I put my cash into equities in 1974, that'd be another story. I'd have watched 60% of my hard earned money evaporate in the period of a few months! That would have been harsh, for me at least.

I have been re-balancing my portfolio of late--trimming the portions that have advanced well beyond that dictated by my personal diversification model. JDS has been trimmed some but I am still long. If the stock takes a dive, I don't care now. In fact, I'll use my cash to load up. Oink!

I am currently 80% equities. The rest in bonds and cash. I may own some tulips, so I am concerned about the supply of greater fools than I.

I have a can of money dug into a hole in my back yard in case the banks go haywire on Jan 1, 2000.

That's about it. What about you?

Ciao,
David Todtman
