I bought NT last Fall when it was dirt cheap. It is now close to being equally valued with LU, so I recently sold part of my holdings to buy LU to diversify (I'm more chicken than LindyBill). Nether is a gorilla, but I suspect that NT has a good chance of doing at least as well as LU. NT has a new CEO who is shaking up the old ways of doing things. The AT&T part is important- LU no longer automatically wins here. See post 3363 this thread -NT is on the move.5 years from now you will probably be glad you bought either - if I had to chose I would start with NT , but that is a minority viewpoint. ( It was a minority viewpoint in October 1998 too). It would appear that the sector has exceptional visibility of growth way into the future, and that both NT and LU are gaining ground on foreign companies. The idea of investing in the sector by purchase of 2 or 3 in the field has been discussed at length on this thread.
good investing..
