Bob & THC, the facts as I see them are that KOB issued a press release on April 1st 1998 announcing their 5% interest in ELH. They were sitting at 8 cents at that time and had been at that level for 6 months.
The KOB share price began to rise at that time and rocketed from 13 to 25 cents on May 30-31st in response to a British group getting wind of the potential in this play. It has never looked back.

KOB is built entirely on ELH and if the project was to tank, KOB would certainly suffer an awful death.
This is all irrelevant because ELH has proven WITHOUT A SHRED OF DOUBT that it contains significant hydrocarbon reserves.
That is irrefutable fact - the entire planet has seen the evidence.
As long as KOB has a ~5% share of the mineral rights at ELH, it will never see 10 cents again.
The question that remains is whether these reserves can be economically extracted. Burning down rigs is no way to turn a profit *ggg*.

As Grayhairs pointed out, in ~45 days we should have a well that is cased and ready to tie in to the system, for some real revenues.

IMHO, with the speculation that drives the market as we get closer to our Temblor target, I see the risk:reward ratio as nil:huge.

Think about it guys. If ever you were looking at a sure thing, this is it! Can anyone honestly see the share price of KOB dropping from current levels, when our guys are drilling at 17,200 feet, right on top of the structure?

Responses welcome.

"Based on pre ELH activity I would suggest that KOB downside is in the $0.30 to $0.40 range. Thus the risk/reward ratio for KOB is far better than has been mentioned here."

That may be fair, but I would guess that the upside within the next 12 months is NOT 15x.......perhaps 3x or so.....which is similar to the downside!

Cheers,

THC
