OK i will disagree but my heart wont really be with it.... Now tell me what constellation is bursting at the seam? Which viable technologly is only lacking a satellite to get it going? You don't have enough TV channels now? Primestar/Direct TV cant beam to your house now? Internet technology (I understand from other threads) is not ready for prime time Gates or no Gates. Iridium does NOT have a capacity problem, neither will G*. Mobile phones? ever try to use one and get a busy tone because you were using a satellite? GPS, tracking, weather reports I dont know any of these that say "God if we only had another satellite up there we could give our competitors a real run for the money". It may be more likely they would LIKE to have a satellite of there OWN up there so not to pay anyone access fees and have a competetive advantage, but at this time I don't think its a capacity problem or neccessarily cost effective in todays envirnoment.

Now they do not stay up forever so we need to replace them, that will at least give the industry something to do. But without a breakthrough technology either greatly reducing costs (not sure this would be good for ORB) or a KILLER APP concept that could not use existing capacity I just dont see where the growth comes from for the next 3 to 5 YEARS.

The pegasus (SP?) launchings were what got me interested in ORB in the first place. That was a number of YEARS ago. Liked that low cost launch. I have not heard from anyone with FIRST HAND knowledge that this will be a big contributer anytime soon. So your turn, why should I invest in ORB now? Anything specific going to happen in the next 3 years? new products or companies pining for capacity? Hope so I sure would like to own this company someday.
