Okay, Terrence, point by point.

1) You may claim to have a sense of humor yourself, but you do not seem to recognize it in others. I was "tweaking" you. Although I suppose I could make the argument (as some do) that sloppy grammar is a sign of sloppy thinking.

2) I said the theory was "simplistic," not "simple." There is a difference.

And if you are invoking "Occam's razor," may I remind you of what Occam actually said: "plurality should not be posited without necessity." Where human behavior is concerned, I would submit, it is necessary to posit "plurality."

3) I analyze human actions all the time. That is why I am convinced they are generally complex and multi-factored.
