MrGreenJeans re:"Run that by me again"
Bob and others (such as Garzarelli) make a significant point of how the CIBCR is watched closely by Greenspan and is considered a good indicator of future inflation. Recently on the show Bob pointed out that the CIBCR has reached a worrisome level suggesting possible future inflation. The number you gave me of 107.3 up from 106.3 from the previous month's number which had already disturbed Bob would suggest to me this CIBCR number will only further be a problem for Greenspan and also I assume would only be another negative in the inflation component of Bob's model. If my assumptions seem to be a lot of hot air let me know. Garzarelli usually discusses this at her site at the end of the week when she updates her market opinion which I think should be tonight or tomorrow so I'll see if she agrees this is a concern. Anyway I wanted to see that it had not dropped significantly this morning since with the strong jobs report and the Dow looking at a possible closing high I put a fairly large hedge back on putting me around 50% long equities while I await market developments and any new changes by Bob
