Roy F., the difference is the first screen after you are being connected (default home page). AOL's members enjoy a lots of discount and exclusiveness that a regular surfer won't. Compuserve will not provide all AOL's membership benefit. Other ISP's screen may provide something exclusively for their members. Obviously, AOL has the best otherwise they won't be the #1 ISP and portal position. ATT wants any ISP who wants to rent their pipes for members to 'see' the ATHM's default screen and branch out to the tennant's portal screen using URL, that is what AOL/ATT argues about, first screen is the most important scrren for eyeball count, am I side tracked again?
