This is lame!!! NYMEX oil closes at 18 month record high. Land/gas rig counts go way up, and PTEN drops 1/16. At least I figure people have gotten in their cars for the long weekend to help out the API numbers instead of buying today. Tuesday should be good. Thats the news and I am out of here.

TEXP, I don't know, I daytraded it for a nice lunch ticket, but will not commit funds LT on this activity which I do not understand. I was looking at it very seriously a few days ago, so its a WCS for me.

near as i can figure the secondary is coming onto the market today. curious that there has been no news release. after going through the filings, it seems that an inside group is reducing ownership from 30% to 4%. the placement is also oversubscribed which is a bullish indication. NG reserve life is reported to be 12 years. like what i see but am hopeful it will come back a little to where i feel more comfortable with it.
