Bryan,

As much as I like the clean look of the new format, I don't think function should be lost as a result. I think the multiple message page needs a reply link on every post.

Maybe all the header to/from/date/time/post#/reply clutter could be in a tan colored band to have some visual separation from the message body.

And the search this subject function really should be a part of the other search options somehow, not somewhere else.

p.s. Wasn't the 'reply preview' area tan for a while yesterday? I liked it better that way.

I agree with Catlady. I believe there should be additional functionality added to the multiple read pages.

In addition to the reply function I miss the 'view replies to this message' function. I do not want to even consider clicking on the individual post just to see the replies if indeed there are any...far too time consuming just to find out there are no replies. It defeats the speed benefit gained by the new format.

Overall..first impression is positive.

Now if we could only get a sophisticated (basic?) search function that could search a thread all the way to the beginning of a thread? :)
