"You could be right. I'm just pointing out that, besides being unethical, for a subscriber to make a Brinker bear call public would be in effect working against his or her own interests. It would be like saying, 'Look at me, I'm an idiot!'" Richard, I don't see how a person making a bear call public would be working against his own interests if he had already sold and/or gone short the market. That person would possibly be playing some role in accelerating a downdraft, to his benefit. But I agree about it being unethical.
