doesn't that assume most call writing is naked? My guess would be that most call writing is covered, and thus, the call purchases represent a change of ownership. I don't know of any way to assess the amount of naked call writing to covered writing.

Heinz,

Right now the MAX-PAIN is around 675. What is the most the OEX has closed above the MAZ-PAIN. If I recall correctly, the OEX closed about 15-20 points above the JUN MAX-PAIN. I have heard that the most the OEX closed over the MAX-PAIN was 25 points. Correct me if I am wrong.
