John Tyler, the 10th president, was born in 1790 and died in 1862.
If he fathered a child in 1855 at age 65 and the child in turn
had a child (Tyler's grandchild) in 1920 at age 65, the grandchild
would be 79 today. So it appears to be possible ....

The grandson is indeed alive. At least he was when I read an interview with him a year or so ago. I think he would currently be about 79. He was in good health at the time of the interview. I did a double take when I first saw the article in Southern Partisan.
