OK. They are both interesing charts which seem to fly in the face of what (appears) to be happening - but they paint a cautionary picture.

here is a longer term monthly xau chart with slow stochastics....note that once you have a crossing of the "red and the blue" stochastics lines, such a crossing last a minimum of 3 months and usually longer. we just had another crossing on the xau's stochastics, although towards the bottom of the scale.
