Keeping 200 amzn in the IRA for long term.

Sarmad, how long? and whatever for?
I would say: sell the 200 Amzn sometimes during the Yhoo e-run, (of course if it happens); then buy back in Mid-July and wait for a Amzn e-run. Sell the same 200 shares during the Amzn e-run again, (of course if it happens); then wait for the Aug/Sep/Oct slumps. Buy during those slumps for the so-called X'mas e-season.

There is no "taxable gain" consideration in an IRA.
