I am not a Kantian myself. But your definition of "mystic" is entirely too narrow for me. I am also an agnostic. But your denunciation of any form of religious belief is too much for me.

As for Kant's belief in a "kingdom of Heaven on earth," let me point out that the Encyclopedia article from which that was taken was written by an anti-Kantian Jesuit. Kant never was a "millenarian," as that phrase might seem to imply. In fact, all he wanted to see was a world in which there would be "eternal peace" (did you read his Project?), and where people would understand the "categorical imperative" of being kind to one another. A naive dream, perhaps, but hardly authoritarian.
