An interesting cultural difference; you wouldn't expect Manning to say more yet we Yanks would DEMAND that he come clean before we accepted such a vague, convoluted story at face value.

That's a large part of why I am not long this stock, in addition to the business model and competition concerns raised earlier.

That and the fact there are dozens of other fully reporting Internuts I can go long in without worrying about who is who or what is what.

Jon, see article below. Do you know if the DTI ever did anything in relationship to their investigation? If so, what? Thanks, Jeff

Companies and Finance: UK: Weekend Sharewatch: Inspectors from the Department of Trade and Industry
100% match; Financial Times ; 03-Feb-1997 12:00:00 am ; 194 words

* Inspectors from the Department of Trade and Industry have seized documents from Firecrest, the Internet and advertising group which became the first company to be delisted from the Alternative Investment Market last October.

The DTI declined to comment on a report in Sunday Business which said that inspectors had visited Firecrest's west London headquarters. However, the documents seized are believed to cover Firecrest's reverse, all-paper takeover of Super Phone, a shell company in the US. The takeover will give Firecrest a listing on the Bulletin board, an alternative investment market in the US.
