They built it from scratch. It is cheap ground in a great location... just north of the Sikorsky Helicopter plant in Shelton, CT. The ground couldn't have cost them much and the place is beautiful and a quick 15 minutes from Westport on the Merritt Parkway. I spoke to the mgr about locations to open another one in the Fairfield County area and he said they had looked everywhere and decided this was the best place. I'm sure we'll talk more about it on my next visits. I took my wife and 2 kids to the mini-golf on Saturday morning and they had a great time. I will also go to the annual meeting if it is reasonably close to the NYC area.
