Tom: Its for the contest (too new to short in the market). Daytraders bid the stock way up. At Thursdays level (it was 160ish when I shorted vs. the close around 140) its way over valued. MRVC has a subsidiary with a competing Terabit product. Not saying MRVC will do well but I'd expect a lot of competitors to JNPR. Too early to see the winners and if CSCO puts its cards somewhere else JNPR will crash quickly. JNPR will probably hang around the $140 until after the Sept. contest date and then crash <gg>.
