Three thanks and an apology: The three "thank you's" go to the three people who corrected me about the origins of the Fed. The apology goes to my buddy, LindyBill, who I erroneously corrected. I shoulda known he knows more about this stuff than I do.

Was it really the SEC that was formed in respsonse to the Crash?
