That happened to me. Pressure from a boy several years older. I still remember his name. Unpleasant and scary. That is a special problem.

It is not possible, or wasn't when I was a child or my son was, to keep watch every minute. Children run around the neighborhood. (Or did before computer games.) And if it happens, and the little participants are happy, I think sending "nasty" messages is not a good idea. It isn't nasty.

Those messages were sent strongly to me by my mother when I was 'caught.' "Playing nasty" is what it was called. It was horrible. The play wasn't horrible, but my mother's reaction was. It didn't stop me, it just made me very, very unhappy.

My son's latitudinarian upbringing was a much happier one in that way.
