I agree with you as well.

I took the opportunity when FT diverted the subject to make a point that I believe in strongly. This was in no way meant to disparage anything that you had said.

However, I really don't think that the LeTourneau case ultimately has that much to do with sex. Clearly it hinged on sex, but the fact that she had sex with this adolescent wasn't the problem. The problem is the incredible selfishness and short-sightedness that caused her to harm so many people in order to have a relationship with this student. If it had just been an unencumbered sexual liaison we would have never even heard about it.

Personally I think that Mary Kay LeTourneau is clearly a few sandwiches short of a picnic.
