I spoke to a BellSouth rep. who participated in BellSouth's internal trials over the past few months. All the BellSouth users of Portico had a conference this year to discuss the results - they were mixed (reviews). He said, however, that GMGC had some "slick" changes/improvements in store - very soon. He said that BellSouth would be rolling out its market trials in about two weeks but that BellSouth's market trials would only involve about 100 customers. That's it. He says BellSouth is not yet committed to GMGC and is still undecided. He inquired of my Portico use and experiences - which have been most enjoyable, personally. In any event, it is clear that it will be many months before BellSouth ever launches the magicTalk platform, if ever.
