Told you guys this was a failing business model. You would think AMTD has had enough time in the business to have their own money to advertise, but that just isn't the case. This company is headed for a nasty fall at some point. One that will disable them from selling highly overinflated and manipulated stock to investors. 6 billion dollar market cap for a company that has proved that the best they could do was to whore out an industry, and provide lousy service to their clients. Don't any of the investors ever wonder why AMTD never has any excess cash?? They should by now. They've had plenty of time to book some profits. And they can't afford to advertise anymore. They claimed they were going to spend 200 million on advertising back around christmas, and I had to ask myself, where are they going to get all of this money?? I determined they were gonna have to sell some stock. So who on earth is buying this stock?? And why?? Why would people be foolish enough to buy 200 million dollars on this stock so that AMTD can bring in more clients that they can piss off and lose money on?? What am I missing guys?? This stuff is getting out of hand. There are, like, 1,000 on-line brokers out there now. I had an account with Ameritrade and I can assure you that they will never collect another commission from me again. So am I the only one that feels that way?? It looks as if they are actually seeing a deterioration of their business. Well who would have guessed?? I am gladly paying 20 bucks a commission for superior service. What if AMTD tried to raise their rates?? Would anyone pay, or is that the only thing holding clients in?? This is looking like the beginning of the end for AMTD unless they have something up their sleeves I can't see. This should be a fantastic short on Tuesday. Post split price with a secondary on the way. Opinions???
