The special art exhibit that is here. Sunday is the last day and tomorrow is already close to a sellout and probably will be. It's going to be a madhouse, and you have to add the last minute folks that show up and are upset that they can't get in. I have to steel myself to be charming but say "noooooo".

This is the third set of tickets the boss has given me to use. I worked Wednesday night when the last group goes in at 8. We were all out of tickets and overflowing. This nice youngish couple showed up just after 8 and I had to tell them they couldn't go in. I suggested they go on and make reservations for one of the following days, but they had a babysitter that night and it was their big chance. But they weren't irritable, they just asked if the rest of the museum was open (yes) and what was there to see (bunches of good stuff) and they were going to go off and enjoy their night out, by gosh. Then I noticed the tickets sticking out of my pocket (good anytime, no questions asked) and produced them. It was mighty sweet to see their grins. I've been wondering around with these latest two tickets for two days now with an eye out for likely recipients. It's fun. I think I'd like to go about always with a pair of VIP tickets in my pocket.
