Just my opinion...I read the same things you have and thought the stock had some value....the market proved me wrong and crashed through $25. I personally don't think the CIT deal being called off is fully factored into the stock. There are a lot of people holding this stock just waiting for this deal to bail them out of a losing position. If the deal is called off these people will bail.

i read in the news that cit may be buying time to pick up nct at a fraction of the original cost somewhere in the area of 17 to 19 buckaroos. i think this is just rumor so far. thats probably why it did not move today.
