Yes, 25 years ago in Northeast Thailand (true story), the kids would nail soft-drink bottle caps to a board - about 20 or so in two rows.
They would scrape these on a block of ice on a big can lid and make shave-ice, put it in a plastic bag, pour in half a Pepsi and a straw, and tie a rubber band around the top, so you could hang it on your thumb and not melt the ice too quickly. They would sell it for 10 baht to the troops (40 cents) and make a gross margin of 50%. Jungle fighting deluxe. Scrap box capitalism.
