I kinda like Audible myself...

First mover in their market. Okay, okay, so maybe they're the only mover in their little niche. Even better if it's a viable niche. In any event, they're certainly first.

And they have serious money behind them. Darn serious: Microsoft, AT&T, Compaq are major shareholders.

They already have a $30,000,000 (over 3 years, maybe?) royalty contract from Microsoft.

They already have commitments from the big manufacturers of portable MP3 devices to incorporate the Audible software to enable playback of the Audible e-audio-books.

They have a serious website. I downloaded their software to play back samples from the different books. Very nice quality.

They're losing money, a big plus for an internet stock!
