Just for the record that was not a quote from TJ but rather the author speaking about CEO's in general.

Excite also put out some pretty darn interesting new features very recently.

I wouldnt want a CEO focused primarily on generating news releases to drive up the stock price. Remember that the stock didnt even blip a little when ATHM announced new partnerships in Japan and Australia.

Impressive subscriber growth will do just fine thank you.

What did Michael Dell do this week? My DELL sure isn't showing anything for it.

The quote was not TJ's but the author's, as somebody else noted. Also, wasn't it Michael Dell who said Apple should sell off everything and give investors their money back? Talk about running off at the mouth AND being wrong!
