EXACTLY the same words I used to use. Although I never said them directly to my rotten son. (It might have made him feel -- and act -- even rottener.) I said them to other people, when he was not around. So change one crucial word in the above sentence, to read: "if it weren't for his older brother.."

I hope your mother lived to see you transformed. And that you do not hate your older brother...
