Usually changes to a website would be made to a copy of the website in a test environment on the same server and once tested and debugged the new website would be put in production. But typically the old website would remain in service while the changes are being made.

I have created several web pages and one website. It is not that difficult to do. A site is just a collection of one or more web pages that are linked together so after a new page is developed the html is changed to add a link to the new page. Again this takes seconds maybe minutes not days to reload the home page that contains the links.

I am baffled by the lack of a response from Pyng. Everyone must be on vacation and they are having server problems as Stang mentioned. Probably no one from Pyng has signed on the site this week and are unaware of the problem. The fact that there have been no posts on SI this week indicates that neither Mr. Jacobs or Dr. Johnson are checking the thread. If they had been checking I am sure that on of them would have responded to the softball questions we have been pitching to them

If they were changing the site they would be checking to see that it loads properly and that the links work as designed. My problem is that my connection times out which is more likely to be a server issue. Unless the new site is so graphically intense my machine is overloaded. Esxtarus did not have a problem so he may have a more powerful PC than Stang and I. JMHO
