Way off topic - does anyone know if in Explorer 5, you can add buttons at the top of the screen for popular URLs like you can for Netscape? I have to start using Explorer again because my Netscape keeps crashing.

Thanks

I'm willing to accept the risk

Copy cookies.txt first so if it gets messed up you can go back
to where you started.

I just edit the cookies.txt in notepad

Let me know if it worked. I have read that you can't edit it without totally messing it up.

Which browser are you using?

I use a wonderful program called Atguard that blocks cookies on a site-by-site basis. Actually it accepts all cookies, but refuses to return them, which in effect is the same. It also blocks ads, refer requests, active content such as java scripts, java applets, and ActiveX, blocks your browser from revealing your email address, and even blocks your browser from revealing what browser it is. All these can be on a site-by-site basis, globally, or it can ask each time in learn mode. It also includes a personal firewall, all for $30. I highly recommend it. Available at atguard.com

I am thinking about also making an empty cookie file read-only, and then accepting cookies from SI. That way I could log on to the new site. Right now I can't, but I don't like it anyway. It reminds me a lot of Yahoo.
