1) we are in the second half already, 2) the qtr is over and is past info, 3) stocks always look ahead, not behind.
Hello! We have no idea what the company earned in the June quarter, expcept for the fact that analysts (who probably talk often to the company's management) are lowering their estimates. So, the conclusions I make, not knowing what IFCI will report for June, is that they will report less than we expected them to report back in early April. What do you make of the June quarter compared to what you expected for the June quarter back in April? Has June been better than you expected back in April or worse?

Re this management disappointing analysts. I'd say, $.25/sh in 1997 going to $.43/sh in 1998, then going on to $.56/sh in 1999, then going to $.84/sh in 2000 is not disappointing investors.
Did you listen to the conference call in April? They said June and Sep would be very strong, and probably Dec as well, and end the year on a $200mm run rate (meaning $50m in the Dec quarter). Well, as far as I can tell so far, they've missed the first part of that prediction (June). This is what we call, if Wall Street speak, disappointing.

The only thing we are quibbling about is what to pay for it. I say 15X current year's eps is very cheap
But we don't know what this year's EPS is going to be, do we?

Anyway, I'm not a short, I just understand the reason NOT to get excited about this company - they haven't delivered EPS yet. Revenue growth has been phenomenal, but the EPS growth simply has NOT been there.
