Interesting,

The absolute defense against libel claims is truth -- I have no knowledge of the details, so we will see.

The other question is shorting. Again, we will see. If a group of people in a chatroom all agree that a stock is worth shorting, is it illegal? I don't know. I don't short myself because I trade on cash and don't wish to mess with margins.
