Thinking about the TSQD disposition....

I agree, Sigmund, that this was another step along the way to selling off TSQD. All that remains in the way of asset transfers is the DTP business, then comes the sale of the corporate shell, containing the DRIV option and some cash.

But, just a minute. I expect we will hear of the DTP sale and a proposed deal for the sale of TSQD's stock in a single announcement. Announcing the DTP sale alone would cause a runup in the price of the stock which could frustrate completing the stock transaction. Shareholders will likely be presented simultaneously with the news of the DTP sale and a proposed deal for the stock sale at an agreed price. The knowledge that Mr. Ronning is already on board will then restrain any unwanted speculation in the price of the TSQD stock.

Timing-wise, this would require the DTP deal and the sale of TSQD to be finalized together, which might be a bit tricky. More precisely, in terms of pricing the latter, wouldn't you want to wait for market reaction to good second quarter results for DRIV, if you were Mr. Ronning?

Stay tuned in late July, or August.

Cheers,
David
