Bobby, as a kid, did you ever play catapults? Now that' AOL. As a matter of fact, you are not that bad compared with Abelson of the Barron's; he badmouthed about AMZN saying it's only worth $3 when it was $125. It should have at least dropped half after he named it AMZN.bomb last issue around, but it's still hanging around mid-120's resisliantly. Yahoo, when it dropped to $118 on in mid-June, everybody thought it was over, but in only 2 weeks' time, it powered back to $175. Now that's a 50% gain of its stock value in comparatively a very short period of time. Name another stock that could recover so fast in so short a time. This is another example how the catapult works. Nothing ever goes up in a straight line. You draw back your fists in order to hit harder. AOL is still the leader of the pack. As a matter of fact, it's one of the Lehman's 10 top picks of extraordinary values and AOL is its only pick among the nuts. Not that I buy into any analysts' theory that much, but the fact AOL is lagging comparatively does not mean it won't power ahead again. Many will drop thier chins when it gets to its new high pretty soon. Anyway, if the nuts are going to see its high day again(I believe they still will), there is no way AOL will be left out of it. It does not matter how many charts you draw and how many waves you count, the catapult is on. Don't get slung-shot. BTW, one of my friends signed up with AOL before he went back to China. He took a laptop and a digicam. I got pictures the next day of his trip. You know what? AOL is the only ISP presence in China. Now, think about the potential of an ISP in a country of more than one billion people but one relatively still uncultivated in its internet use. What's gonna happen when the Dragon wakes up?
