It's not about hunting, man. It's about freedom. Every incident of genocide in history was preceded by disarming the people. It's precisely because we have the second amendment that all the others will survive. Like my Pentium III, my new baby. You think the government would not trace everything I say right to the very machine at which I sit because of its processor ID if it weren't for the First Amendment? Just who gets to write the rules? See, that's the problem. It only takes a few like Stalin, Milosevic or what have you. Ever see the movie Red Dawn? Yeah I know it was a survivalist's wet deam, but there was a moment of truth to it when the Cuban colonel said go to the sporting goods store and look up the list of form # (whatever) and there would be a list of all the gun owners there. Ever see the movie Demolition Man? The free people lived in sewers and ate rat burgers in preference to living the alternative engineered life of no crime, no violence, no sex, and NO freedom. It's possible, man. Don't doubt that it will happen if we let slip the second amendment.
<<Oh yes all hunters should have to run a gauntlet where they get shot at. Is fair , no? >> I suppose, if you also agree to being held under water by a fish before being tossed back on shore.
