Charlie:

Are you implying that H&Q are shorting the stock ?

Does that explain rise in short interest ?

Was the past couple of days a short squeeze ?

Was 1,000,000 Block a Sell by H&Q for next ride down ?

Gawd I hate weekends, keeps my paranoia at a peak. Weeknights paranoia only lasts until next trading day.

Regrds,

Dave

Charlie, if you are thinking that the converible leads to shorts from the homeowners at the best possible moment, you are not alone.

I have been concerned with that situation form the getgo with WSTl and then Cramer wrote of the piece on HAYZ.

CFO at WSTL contended that you go with good firms on the convert so the situation doesn't arise. Of course, that CFO is gone. Maybe some of you very concerned LTers ask the new CFO his take on the situation!

My feeling is that the firms might trade the stock down around these levels to shakeout LT money into their hands. Then tear the cover off the bar NEXT year. When profits are visible.

That time frame starts in December, of course. until then 4-5 downside, 10-12 upside? does that average 7?
