Hi Chop...yes I understand what Margin is for...just not sure why people are moving allotted shares into their MARGIN BUCKET!

Okay, now I am starting to see the light as I type this. Here is the scenario as I see it. They have at least $2000.00 at WITC in cash or securities. They receive an allocation of shares and then move those to the Margin Bucket so they do not have to use up their cash. Now they want to receive another allocation...and they still have that $2000 available for that second allocation right?

Well, I guess that is where all the discussion about if you can receive future IPO shares if you have IPO shares on margin came from. Now I need to go back and reread all of that discussion....
