Lars, re:
"If the Starship Commander changes his stance at any time I will be going to cash, as will the Mary Kay gang. The only problem I have at this point is I am mandated in my 401k to own my company's stock with 50% of every dollar I put in. I can't sell unless I leave.

"Does anyone else have a similar problem? Any suggestions? I have thought about put options but I am not an 'options kind of guy'."

Well, you can leave your job <g>. Actually, my 401k has become substantial enough to cause me to consider leaving my job in order to be able to roll it into an IRA where there is much more flexibility. At least my 401k will allow me to sell everything and go to 100% cash. If I could find an equivalent or better position with another company, I'd be tempted.
