JB...living in Dallas, as I do...and having worked for TI every summer between college years...I know TI VERYYYY well. It has a FAR older history, plants all over the world, and had the benefit PR of having Kilby that grew the first silicon chip. By comparison, ATML is a baby. It seems to have the foresight, management, etc to eventually grow up...but to try to compare the two in the same sentence today is similar to comparing pomegranate seed to a watermelon and asking us why they aren't seen equally. You will have to give ATML the same amount of time...then ask the question again.
